Overview

The purpose of the Young Adult Development Study is to learn what personal and social factors shape decision-making as youth become young adults. Conducted over five years, this study will look at how different experiences impact youth as they leave high school and transition into adulthood.

This study has received funding from Canada's Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council. It has also been reviewed and approved by University of Calgary's Conjoint Faculties Research Ethics Board (REB22-0294).

An incentive will be provided to all residents of Canada who legitimately meet the survey eligibility criteria and who complete one (1) Year 1 (2023) survey. Participants who do not comply with any of the Incentive Rules are subject to disqualification by the Sponsor, in the Sponsor's sole discretion.
